Is Indonesian sorghum non-GMO?
Yes. All our sorghum is 100% non-GMO, grown by traditional farming communities using native seeds. We can provide non-GMO certification with every shipment.
What is the difference between white and red?
White sorghum has a milder flavor and is preferred for flour milling and general culinary use. Red sorghum has a slightly more earthy flavor and contains higher levels of tannins and antioxidants.
Is it suitable for animal feed?
Yes. We supply feed-grade sorghum for poultry and livestock industries as a high-protein, cost-effective alternative to corn.
What is the shelf life?
When stored in a cool, dry place in its original packaging, whole grain sorghum maintains its quality for up to 24 months. Sorghum flour should be used within 12 months.
